It's simple, really: JD is too busy to organize and operate a "Who Do You Love?" contest this year. Maybe I'll bring it back in 2009. We'll see. |

| Bears fans, I hope you get cancerAIDS and die a miserable death |
[Aug. 21st, 2008|09:19 pm] |
Because you're all stupid human beings. Seriously. Go to Iraq and get blown up by suicide bombers you ignorant moron retards. I hate you.
Let's recap: Kyle Orton has a game where every pass was thrown over a guy's head or behind a guy, but receivers made great catches, and he almost throws an end zone interception. Boos? Nah. We like the neckbeard turd.
Rex Grossman almost throws a pick on what would've been a highlight reel tremendous defensive play, boos. I get it. Rex forces the ball too much. That's why people complain, right? 3rd and 2, Rex gets the snap, defensive lineman doesn't bite on the fake and he's about to kill Rex. So what does he do? He throws it out of bounds. You know, the way you're supposed to do it. Bears fans applauded the smart decision; he didn't take the sack or throw an interception.
Except they didn't. They booed.
Seriously, if you all get in a 5,000 car pileup on Lake Shore Drive I'd go to bed smiling because stupid people just piss me off. |

| Stupid things I've heard from Sox fans and radio people today |
[Jul. 31st, 2008|10:45 am] |
1) Ken Griffey is a better defensive center fielder than, well, anybody. But, specifically, Nick Swisher.
The fact: Griffey is so terrible defensively in right field that he's actually at or below replacement level. He needs to retire. Or DH. But really, retire.
2) Swisher is not all that good at first base, and even though he's an upgrade over Paul Konerko, it doesn't mean he's actually good at the position.
The fact: Bringing up the idea of being good relative to another guy is smart. A lot of players look better than they are because of the guy next to him. This is not one of those cases. If Swisher played 150+ games at first base, he'd probably challenge Kevin Youkilis for a Gold Glove. He's not a good first baseman; he's a great one.
There's more, I'm sure, but I'm on three hours of sleep and forget things. The point is: People in Chicago are stupid and I wish I could beat all of you idiots with a giant stick.
Ken Williams made a desperate, bone-headed move by trading for Griffey. This is especially true if he plays him in center field. Smart baseball people are laughing ther butts off right now. |

| Bob Geren: Worse than Ken Macha |
[Jul. 1st, 2008|11:35 pm] |
That's right, I said it.
I can't even type right now I'm so furious. Bob Geren, with his unhealthy love for Alan Embree, has blown another A's game. The only real job of a manager is to put his players in the best possible position to succeed. Geren seems to do the opposite. It really looks like he wants the other team to win with some of his moves. Maybe he hangs out with Tim Donaghy.
Geren, I hope you do this for another week. Every game (except Thursday). I'm willing to take a week-long losing streak as long as it's so obviously your fault as it was tonight. Then, maybe, just maybe, Billy will fire you. Or some crazy Oakland thug will shoot you. Either way, you need to stop managing this team because you have absolutely no clue.
Funny story: A couple weeks ago Alan Embree was overheard in the bullpen questioning what the hell Geren was thinking. Even his own players have no respect for him. I'm shocked. |

| Long overdue, but what a wonderful day |

Short and sweet: Good riddance. Mike North is an uneducated, meatball high school drop out. He's everything that's wrong with sports talk radio, and a lot of what's wrong with sports in general. He appeals to the lowest common moron, and the Score should've gotten rid of him before I turned double digits. The fact that A) he was on the air for 16 1/2 years and B) he was making $1.5 million a year is proof that Chicago is filled with complete idiot sports fans.
See ya, Pappy, you will not be missed even a little tiny bit. |
